My Most Important Prayer

There's a young man I've watched who says that, while Jesus is not in every story in the Bible, Jesus is the central figure of the Bible. He is where everything points.
It may seem selfish for me to start with a prayer for myself, but I am compelled to. Because while I am in every story you'll read, Jesus is the central figure to this site. Everything does, or at least should, point to Him.

That is my first, and most important prayer for this site, that God...the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit, is always the hero. It is never me. Ever.
Lord, search my heart, may my words be true, as only You know when they are. I pray that, through the Holy Spirit, my fingers, the part of the body that you've asked me to put to use, and my words will paint vivid, divinely inspired descriptions and share details transparently and discerningly. But let no falsehood or useless embellishment be found in my words. Your glory needs none!
May I surrender to your loving guidance, on not just what to say when I do share, but what should be shared. There is much that only you and I know about Lord, that which has helped me grow in my faith, and that which I still struggle with. There are also those things that never need sharing. Some are just too sad. Others are just too horrendous. You know the ones, Lord. The world does not need to, Some will never understand, some will never stop judging and some just plain don't care. It's the way of a world temporarily ruled by the enemy, he loves confused, judgy and apathetic people!
In all I write, I find that I love you more. In my worship, in my study, in my memories and in my quiet times alone with you, I continue to love you more.
I know I will sin. To deny that is a lie. Everyday I'm learning to love you more than my sin. I'm learning to mourn deeper over my sin, and I'm learning to lean quicker into the arms of Your Son, for the forgiveness of my sins. I'm learning, more each day, Lord, the lovely promise found in Philippians 1:6, "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus." (NASV).
Abba Father, thank you. Thank you for my very being. Thank you for all the days written for me. Thank you for never giving up. Thank you Jesus, and thank you for the cross. I'd be dead without it.
In His Holy and Sacrificial Name
Amen
